Pertemps is working with the Royal Mail to recruit HGV/LGV C+E Class 1 Drivers for the Christmas peak. Work starts immediately with shifts offered one week in advance. Pay rates are competitive and there are many start times and days. We are looking for drivers who can work weekends or start in the afternoon/evening.
Responsibilities:
- After assessment, trunk parcels and mail between depots around the Royal Mail Network.
- Perform duties with little manual work.
- Clear a CRB security check at the point of registration.
Requirements:
- Hold the licence for a minimum of 12 months.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
Benefits:
- Pay rates £20.82 - £23.85 per hour.
- Minimum 8 hours daily guarantee.
- Paid peak driving assessments (conditions apply).
- Option to lock into desired shift pattern after assessment.
