Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver

We are recruiting for long term ongoing Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Shunter driver, you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:

1. 4 on 4 off
2. 6:30am to 6:30pm

The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will:

1. Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
2. Have a valid tacho and DQC card
3. Previous experience preferred
4. Have a positive can-do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include:

1. Moving trailers or units around the yard
2. Ensure safety of others in the yard

You will receive:

1. Days – £15.30 per hour
2. OT after 9.6 hours daily – £22.95 per hour
