Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor

Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
£60,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) + company vehicle or car allowance.

About the role
We are looking to expand our team Health and Safety Team in our Head Office in Swindon, Wiltshire. We require a Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor who will be responsible for working with all Departments and projects to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environment are met at HOCHTIEF Head office and project locations. You will be required to provide appropriate information, support, assurance and challenge to Project teams to help achieve HOCHTIEF requirements and drive continual improvement.
You will produce and analyse trends of data and produce both internal and external meeting minutes.
The role will require you to work closely with the Training Coordinator to ensure relevant training competencies are captured at induction and maintain the training skills matrix with competencies and qualifications to comply with health and safety regulations.
About you
It is essential that you have the relevant health and safety membership at Senior Level (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, IEMA, CQI) and have previous extensive experience of working within a health, safety and environmental role.
You will have a solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001, 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 standards and have strong data analysis skills with an understanding of the purpose of document control.
You must be honest in discharging your duties as a health and safety professional while in the role.
Please note that this role will be site based 5 days per week in our Swindon Head Office. You can apply to work from home 1 day per week following on from successfully completing your probationary period.
