We are looking to expand our Technical Services team with a skilled and enthusiastic Engineering Manager to be based in our Head Office in Swindon, Wiltshire. The role will require you to provide engineering support to the nominated HOCHTIEF Sectors / Projects, serving both the work winning and project delivery teams with the following key objectives:

  • Lead the management of the engineering function in the sector/region.
  • Vetting pre-qualifications and tenders in allotted sectors for technical risk, ensuring that appropriate action is taken to mitigate the risk.
  • Incorporate innovative alternative designs, engineering methods and the latest technology into sector bids/projects offering the best possible value engineering solutions.
  • Ensure that projects deliver the contracted engineering requirements using the highest levels of technical expertise, efficiency and quality.

For this role, it is essential that you are a Chartered Engineer or similar approved by the Head of Technical Services. You will have substantial construction and design experience and the ability to deputise for the Project Manager if required.
