HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Limited is a leading international civil engineering company, specialising in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Tunnelling, Building, Civil and Structural Engineering. We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Sellafield IDP project.
You will proactively contribute to the commercial success of the project and thus the business. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing applications and reports
- Reviewing incoming accounts and correspondence and reacting accordingly
- Managing specified subcontract accounts
- Supporting senior commercial staff in negotiations
It is therefore important that you have a detailed understanding of the general and specific contract and subcontract terms. It is essential that you are degree qualified and have previous experience in a similar role for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor. You must have a detailed understanding of the general and specific contract and scope and a knowledge of the techniques and processes involved in delivering the works. A detailed knowledge of the commercial process and procedures for both HTUK and client is also essential.
