About the role
We are looking to expand our Quality team with a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Quality Manager to be based in our Head Office in Swindon, Wiltshire. The role will require you to assist the Head of Quality with quality initiatives (such as World Quality Day) and perform activities to train and educate staff in quality matters. You will carry out Quality Improvement Projects and support ECI/Bid Activity where detail quality deliverables are needed. You must act as the initial quality manager in the start up of new projects, perform supply chain assessment and development duties as required and be responsible for carrying out ISO 9001 auditing activities. Please note: This role will be office based 5 days per week until you have completed your probationary period, at which time you will be able to apply to work from home 1 day per week.
About you
It is essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of project administration procedures and are computer literate (particularly with Excel and Word). You must be able to carry out internal (Contract) and External (Supplier) quality audits (IRCA 5 Day Audit Course) and have familiarity with using EDMS systems (Themis/ProjectWise/4Projects/A-Site etc.). A comprehensive understanding of document control processes and procedures including knowledge of ISO 19650 – document numbering is essential along with an understanding of Supply Chain Management - Supplier Quality/ Development Activity.
