You will work within a team to plan orders through the factory/cells in an organised manner working closely with others to maintain a good workflow, supporting the department where needed, this may be through admin tasks or assisting plan areas during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Planning/Scheduling in new customer orders.
- Assisting keeping shop floor schedules up to date.
- Giving lead times on new orders.
- Assisting the department/factory with day‑to‑day admin work.
- Maintaining stock levels to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor Late customer orders and prioritise workload for the factory.
- Assisting other production planners on a day to day.
- Communicate large orders to the factory to aid in resource planning.
- Report and liaise with factory manager and operations department on late orders.
- Work alongside factory supervisors to maximise efficiency and output.
- Liaise with factory supervisors to ensure daily demands are met.
Skills, Experience and Person Specification
Applicants must have at least 2 years planning experience.
