The Print Shop Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and overseeing machinery used in the production of goods. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking training relevant to their responsibilities
- Driving Daily Department Demands
- Work with supervisor and other team leads to manage and prioritize tasks to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.
- Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation of the work cell.
- Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials, and labour to line manager.
- Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with line manager.
- Participate as an active member of the production team and running the machine.
- Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Quality System.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Comply with company procedures and health and safety rules.
- Help eliminate delays in getting jobs out on time.
