We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality Department.

RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Perform product quality inspections on completed fire alarm control panels and associated equipment after functional testing and before shipment to ensure compliance with customer requirements, approved specifications, and applicable quality standards.
  • Ensure the products are meeting all quality and customer requirements and ready for shipment to customers, while nonconforming products are properly identified, segregated, and controlled in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify that completed products conform to engineering documentation, configuration requirements, labelling, and applicable quality standards prior to product release.
  • Identify, document, and report product nonconformities, ensuring that all defects are accurately recorded and communicated in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to implement quality control processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality improvement strategies.
  • Keep up-to-date records of inspection results.
  • Input of inspection data into our computer system and reporting inspection results.
  • Support in problem solving and reporting activities.
  • Assisting in the goods receiving inspection.
  • Assisting in the calibration of equipment.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection activities.
  • High level of care and commitment to quality and product compliance.
  • Ability to identify defects, deviations, and nonconformities effectively.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work systematically and follow established quality procedures.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize inspection activities.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Previous experience of working in an electronic manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
