Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Epicor Kinetic Configurator Developer to assist in developing and maintaining product configurators within the Epicor Kinetic ERP system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in programming who is keen to develop their skills in ERP development and manufacturing software. Full training on Epicor Kinetic will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Epicor Kinetic configurators.
  • Modify existing configurator logic to meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with configurators.
  • Write and maintain C# code.
  • Develop and maintain LINQ queries.
  • Test configurators before deployment.
  • Work with senior developers to implement new functionality.
  • Document changes and follow development standards.

Essential Skills

  • Basic knowledge of C#.
  • Basic understanding of LINQ.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals including variables, loops, conditional statements, methods and classes.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with .NET.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework.
  • Any experience with ERP systems or manufacturing software would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience

  • A degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Development or a related discipline.
  • Commercial programming experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Recent graduates and junior developers are encouraged to apply.
