Description:
Hoc designs and builds premium modular saunas and cold plunges from our workshop in the Lake District. We're growing quickly, and we're looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our small team on the tools and help us build our next production run.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys workshop work and takes pride in a high standard of finish. You'll be working with timber day to day, helping build products we're all proud to put our name to.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with the build of our modular saunas and cold plunges, from cladding to final assembly
- Working with timber to a high standard, with real attention to detail and finish
- Helping keep the workshop organised, safe and running smoothly
- Working closely alongside a small, tight-knit team
What we're looking for:
- Solid woodworking experience and genuine confidence with timber
- Real pride in craftsmanship and getting the details right
- A reliable, proactive attitude and a willingness to muck in
- Ideally, an interest in contrast therapy, saunas or wellbeing. If it's already part of your life, even better
The details:
- 6-month contract to start, with genuine hopes to extend as we grow
- On-site at our Lake District workshop
