Are you a natural leader with a passion for golf and first-class hospitality? Bulbury Woods Golf Club, Nr Poole is seeking an experienced and driven Golf Club Manager to take the lead of a high performing team and be a visible presence within the operations. The Club Manager will be responsible for professionally managing and efficiently administering all aspects of the Club’s operations, while proactively leading sales and marketing efforts to drive continual growth.

The successful Golf Club Manager candidate will benefit from:

Previous senior management experience in Golf is preferred although experience in other hospitality clubs will be considered if the candidate can show strong understanding of the game golf and the golf industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all departments across the Golf Club, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Plan and coordinate club events, tournaments, and member functions.
  • Oversee budgets, financial performance, and strategic planning to drive profitability and growth.
  • Champion excellent customer service and membership satisfaction, identifying opportunities to enhance the member experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance across the clubhouse and course.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a positive and professional culture.
  • Work closely with the Course Manager and Head of Golf to deliver continuous improvement and innovation.

You’ll be a confident, proactive manager with strong organisational and leadership skills. You’ll have:

  • Proven experience in a management role within a golf club, leisure, or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent financial acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Strong people management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • A passion for golf and an understanding of the industry.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and inspire others to achieve excellence.
