Hoburne Naish holiday Park are looking for a Junior Sous Chef.

Summary of Main Tasks/Duties
To Assist the Head Chef / Sous Chef in the maintenance and development of the Catering Services in accordance with the Company’s standards and requirements in respect of the following main areas:
- Quality control
- Food production, service and presentation
- Cleanliness and hygiene including the compliance with statutory regulations
- Contractor services/ordering of food etc.
- Financial control
- To always ensure the safe and correct supervision of Kitchen Staff.
- To issue tasks and responsibilities to the Kitchen Staff as required in the absence of the Head Chef or Sous Chef (where applicable).
- To assist in the adequate staff induction and on-the-job training to ensure all staff are trained on appropriate equipment prior to use.
- To ensure Kitchen Staff are aware of and always comply with the Group Health & Safety Policy (including COSHH and Risk assessments).
- To ensure that you and your Kitchen Staff are issued with and wearing the correct PPE for the task required.
- To ensure all equipment, tools and appliances are maintained and cleaned to Health & Safety protocol standards so they are safe and always fit for use.
- To ensure that any maintenance or mechanical breakdown is dealt with, reported immediately and appropriate safety measures are put in place, always keeping maintenance records up to date.
- Deal with any Kitchen Staff issues immediately and appropriately in accordance with Company policy in relation to the engagement, discipline and welfare of catering staff ensuring that Group Support Services receive all required information.
This is a permanent, full time role, offering 40 hours per week. The role may require overtime which is paid. We are currently looking for Chefs to join the team (CDP level). The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
