Crane Valley Golf Club are seeking to recruit an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our strong team in maintaining and continually improving our golf courses and practice facilities.

Comprising an 18-hole course, an academy course, driving range and short game practice areas, the club is highly regarded locally. Set in the glorious Dorset countryside along the River Crane, and following recent improvements, the club hosted the Dorset County Championships in 2024. Following great feedback, the there is a real buzz at the club and we are excited to welcome a new member to the team.
You will play a key role in delivering:

Daily presentation of the golf course, to the expected standard required by our members and guests, with specific attention to the greens, tees and bunkers.

Preparing our Valley Course for key club and county competitions

Preparing our Woodland Course and practice facilities

An annual programme of improvements including agronomic surface refinement and course construction projects
Previous Greenkeeping experience may be advantageous but is not essential. A willingness to work outside and with early starts is critical.
This role is also available as an Apprenticeship with Level 2 Sportsturf Qualification provided in the workplace by Myerscough College.
