Hobson Prior is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer to join a global team supporting oncology-focused projects. This role involves working on advanced clinical trials (Phase II-III) and contributing to the development of statistical programming outputs. You will play a key role in designing data models, creating statistical reports, and mentoring junior team members.

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in the UK, Poland, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and create specifications for clinical data models (SDTM and ADaM).
  • Develop accurate tables, listings, and figures using SAS programming.
  • Generate complete statistical output reports and validate them for accuracy.
  • Create automated SAS macros to streamline validation processes.
  • Perform quality checks on clinical databases using SAS tools.
  • Document study data following internal guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced programmers.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in clinical data standards (CDISC SDTM and ADaM).
  • Strong experience in statistical programming within the life sciences industry.
  • Ability to manage project elements and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Experience mentoring and training junior colleagues.
  • Familiarity with various therapy areas is advantageous.
