Hobson Prior is seeking a Group Director of Quality Assurance & UK Qualified Person to lead and manage quality assurance activities within the pharmaceutical sector. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, providing guidance on quality processes, and supporting various teams across the organization. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards for product quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities:- Lead and guide the quality assurance team.
- Develop and maintain quality processes and performance indicators.
- Support business development by assessing new contracts.
- Stay informed about regulatory issues and share updates with the team.
- Coordinate audits and inspections, and provide training for inspection readiness.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and manage risk processes.
- Oversee quality control for packaging and labelling projects.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage relevant documentation.
- Eligible to act as a Qualified Person (QP) and Quality Controller (QC).
- Educated in a life science discipline.
- Member of a relevant professional body.
- Strong understanding of EU and UK pharmaceutical regulations.
- Experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
