We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at a leading EfW facility in Kidderminster. This role involves delivering a range of planned and reactive electrical testing and maintenance, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on upgrades and installation projects within a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all electrical systems and apparatus are operated and maintained correctly.
- Test site electrical systems and apparatus according to required regulations.
- Manage and monitor maintenance contracts for specialist equipment.
- Develop and implement obsolescence plans for electrical equipment.
- Enhance cybersecurity measures and maintain software baselines and backups.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Controls, and Instrument Engineers as required.
- Investigate and resolve faults across the facility, providing regular updates to management.
- Report all health, safety, and environmental concerns via the site reporting system.
Key Competencies:
- Minimum of a Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least five years of relevant experience post-qualification.
- Broad experience with process electrical systems, including high and low voltage.
- Expertise with electrical-driven actuators and motors.
- 18th Edition certified.
- Experience in the energy or waste sector is advantageous.
