Team Leader, Rochester – Fixed Term, Hobbycraft

Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in day‑to‑day store operations
- Lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence – opening, closing, cash controls, & keyholding
- Deliver customer service that encourages repeat visits and drives incremental sales
- Coach and support colleagues – coaching, training, & performance management
- Plan and present the store – visual, merchandising, & Click & Collect coordination
- Maintain health, safety & compliance – policies, KPIs, & equality, diversity & inclusion standards
Qualifications
- Retail or similar management experience – duty management background is advantageous
- Keyholding & cash handling awareness
- Coaching, merchandising & sales expertise
- Health & safety, KPI & store performance awareness
- Effective time management, determination & resilience in a fast‑paced environment
