About Scrap't (part of Hobby Store Group) Scrap't makes scrapbooking and junk journalling kits for crafters who want to make something with their hands. We're a UK brand building a full range of kits for the UK and US, with themed and seasonal launches on the way. We're independent, we're growing fast, and we're a small enough team that what you do will be visible in the numbers within weeks.
About the role
You'll be the person who gets Scrap't in front of the internet. That means finding brilliant creators and getting them making things with our kits, growing our TikTok Shop affiliate programme from a standing start, running our Instagram and TikTok like you own them (because you will), and being the voice in our comments section. This role is made for someone who lives on TikTok and Instagram, who spots a trend before it peaks, and who genuinely enjoys wrangling lots of different people - because creators, affiliates and our own small team all run through you. We're small, so you'll get real creative freedom, your ideas live or die on their own merit rather than in a committee, and you'll see the whole machine up close. The title says Social & Influencer, but you'll touch a lot more than that.
What you'll actually do
- Build our TikTok Shop affiliate programme - recruit creators, get samples out, plan launches around them. UK first; the US follows once the UK shop is humming.
- Run influencer campaigns end to end - find them, brief them, chase them kindly, and keep the good ones close. The relationships matter more than the campaigns.
- Own our social strategy across TikTok and Instagram, with video as the main event.
- Make content - some with creators, some with the team, some just you, a kit and a phone.
- Feed our paid ads. A lot of what you and our creators make will run as Meta and TikTok ads, so you'll brief with that in mind - and lock paid usage rights into every creator deal from the outset. You won't be buying the media, but you'll be the reason the ads have something worth saying.
- Stay close to our community. Reply in the comments, engage, and tell us what people are actually asking for. Our community is genuinely lovely and deserves someone who talks back.
- Organise shoots - plan them, prop them, run them, get the assets out the door.
- Bring ideas. Content, kits, collabs. If it's good, we'll try it.
What we're looking for
- The role is open to a range of experience - from people who've done all of this before to people making their first proper move into marketing. We'd rather hire the right person and teach them the rest.
- Deeply fluent in TikTok and Instagram, and can explain why something performed, not just that it did.
- A genuine creative - you have opinions and taste.
- Great written communication (you'll be talking to creators and customers all day).
- Comfortable in a fast-moving small business.
- Takes ownership without being asked twice.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- Interested in craft. You don't have to have a junk journal habit, but curiosity about our world will make you far better at this job.
What'll make you stand out
- You've made content before - for a brand, a client or yourself. This is a big plus, so show us.
- You've made content that ran as paid ads - and know the difference between a video that gets views and one that sells.
- Experience with TikTok Shop, influencer or affiliate management.
- Comfortable in front of the camera.
- You can edit - CapCut is plenty. A nice-to-have, not a requirement.
- Familiar with Canva, Figma or Adobe.
The details
- Remote, UK-based, full-time.
- Reporting to Ben, our founder.
- £26k–£32k, depending on experience.
- 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), pension.
- Growth path: get TikTok Shop right and this role grows toward owning it as a channel, or toward leading our creative and partnerships work as the team gets bigger.
