We’re looking for a highly creative and commercially minded Senior Print Designer to join the Hobbs Design team. Working closely with the Head of Design, you’ll play a key role in shaping seasonal print direction across collections, bringing original ideas and trend‑led thinking to every stage of the design process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced fashion environment and is passionate about creating prints that feel elevated and relevant.
What you’ll do:
- Develop seasonal print direction in collaboration with the Head of Design, identifying key trends and creating commercially relevant print concepts.
- Design original all‑over and placement prints, with a focus on hand‑drawn and hand‑painted artwork that reflects the Hobbs brand identity.
- Present creative ideas, print research and seasonal concepts to Design, Buying and senior leadership teams.
- Collaborate across Design, Buying and suppliers to develop, approve and deliver print collections to critical path deadlines.
- Create inspiring moodboards and trend boards to support seasonal storytelling and collection development.
- Manage and support the Print Design team, freelancers and departmental budget where required.
- Ensure all prints are commercially viable, balancing creativity with margin and business needs.
- Travel internationally for print fairs, supplier visits and inspiration shopping, while gathering in‑store feedback to inform future collections.
Who you’ll be:
You’ll be a highly creative print designer with strong hand‑drawing, painting and digital design skills, alongside excellent knowledge of the luxury and premium fashion market. Confident using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, you’ll be organised, collaborative and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment. With a strong eye for detail and a commercial mindset, you’ll bring fresh ideas, clear communication skills and a hands‑on approach to everything you do.
