We have an opportunity for recruitment into our inpatient, intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Neurological service at Oaksey house, our rehabilitation centre based within the heart of the Injured Jockeys rehabilitation centre in Lambourne. We provide a patient-led, intensive MDT rehabilitation service to a range of clients with neurological conditions, including spinal cord Injury, stroke, ABI and progressive neurological conditions. At Oaksey we provide a clinically led hands-on Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation service alongside aquatic physiotherapy, conditioning and fitness programmes in a state of the art gym, and use of neurotechnology, to help people recover from illness and injury and achieve their goals. We work with our clients in independent living accommodation focusing on patient-led functional goals. We are looking to recruit a full-time or part-time Clinical Team Lead for this service. This role will lead the MDT, providing clinical and strategic leadership, liaising with senior management, and supporting the patient journey. The successful applicant will work clinically within the service, so needs to be a qualified neuro-specialist therapist. Salary will be dependent upon experience. Main duties of the job Work clinically as a highly specialist neurological therapist within your profession, undertaking assessments of potential new admissions, planning treatment, providing expert therapy and discharge planning to a range of clients Provide daily leadership for the Hobbs clinical and administrative team on the ground at Oaksey House, including clinical supervision and line management duties for staff from a range of clinical and non-clinical professions, development and maintenance of close professional working with IJF team and staff. Strategic leadership and management of the service, including patient flow, liaison with our referral partnerships, monitoring of clinical quality and trouble-shooting any issues that arise, working alongside Hobbs Senior Leadership management team to ensure smooth and effective running of the service Support for and involvement in research and development projects across Hobbs in collaboration with the MiNT Academy About us In 2005, neuro physiotherapists Helen Hobbs and Nicky Ellis set up Hobbs Rehabilitation and since then it has expanded offering an exceptional level of personalised skill and expertise. Now operating from a number of locations, Hobbs Rehabilitation provides specialist inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation for adults and children across the south of England, treating a wide variety of conditions, including stroke, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injuries. An expert team of over 100 therapists, including OT, PT, SLT and Psychology, provide an interdisciplinary patient-centred neuro rehabilitation service, ensuring the individual is placed at the centre of care. Duties And Responsibilities: Clinical duties: Assessing patients with acquired physical and cognitive impairments using a range of formal and informal assessments. Practice safely within the legal and ethical boundaries of the profession. Formulate patient-centred goals in conjunction with MDT.
