We are looking for a Buyer to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our coveted footwear and accessories collection for the Hobbs customer.
As the Buyer, you’ll work closely with the Buying Manager and Buying Assistant on the department to recognise and cater to our global customers, ensuring a balanced range that firmly aligns with our product and brand direction.
What you’ll do:
- You’ll collaborate closely with the Merchandiser to shape our product strategy, develop new seasonal product plans based on past performance and future strategies, ensuring a balanced range is delivered in line with our brand vision.
- From formulating phasing to managing the product lifecycle from development to delivery, you’ll be bringing our collections to life.
- Work closely with our Design team to ensure our footwear and accessories meet the first-class standards we are renowned for at Hobbs.
- You’ll partner with the Buying Manager to develop a supply base strategy that meets our product requirements, margin targets, and quality standards.
Who you’ll be:
As the Buyer on the footwear and accessories department, you’ll be a collaborative and strategic thinker with an eye for premium quality. With a keen commercial eye and a passion for creating outstanding product, you’ll take pride in balancing creative vision with commercial results, ultimately helping to shape and develop our seasonal collection. Previous experience in product development in footwear and/or accessories is key for success in this role.
