We\'re looking for a Content and Social Media Manager to join us on a permanent contract. This role would suit a creative storyteller with the vision and craft to bring our Hobbs brand world to life through words and visuals.

What you’ll do:

As the Content & Social Media Manager key accountabilities include:

  • Leading our content strategy by planning and producing seasonal and monthly content across all key channels in partnership with the Head of Brand Creative, ensuring stories are cohesive, distinctive, and timely.
  • Lead the creative storytelling narrative for all monthly themes and seasonal moments, aligning with our Hobbs brand strategy and commercial priorities.
  • Act as the ultimate guardian and shaper of the Hobbs brand tone of voice, ensuring all copy is consistent and editorial across digital, social, retail, and direct mail.
  • Partner with our in-house teams like CRM, Performance Marketing, PR, and Retail to create integrated narratives for email, paid campaigns, in-store POS, and direct mail.
  • Coach and mentor the Brand Copywriter, celebrate their success and achievements, setting high standards across all written communications.
  • Direct the editorial approach and review copy for the Hobbs website’s \"Inspire Me\" hub, working with SEO to maximise visibility and impact.
  • Oversee creative production by briefing designers and agencies, and occasionally capture behind-the-scenes content during shoots to maximise social and digital storytelling opportunities for our Hobbs brand.

If you have a sharp eye and an instinct for narrative within the fashion/retail space we’d love to hear from you. The Content and Social Media Manager will be experienced in setting a high bar for creative quality and guiding junior talent while building strong relationships with cross-functional teams like Performance Marketing, PR, Retail, and Design.
