Junior Merchandiser

Are you a commercially minded and analytical merchandiser looking for that next step in their career? At Hobbs we are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join us on a 12 month contract, starting ASAP. As the Junior Merchandiser, you\’ll play a vital role in driving the performance of the knitwear and jersey department. You\’ll be involved in achieving seasonal targets across sales, profit, margin and stock. With a strong grasp of commercial metrics, you\’ll positively discover opportunities on the knitwear and jersey department and propose solutions to shape future trading and planning. What youll do: Truly own the knitwear and jersey department\’s journey, with guidance from the Merchandising Manager, driving its financial success. Carefully manage our department WSSI(s), ensuring we hit our sales targets while being smart about markdowns and stock levels, proactively flagging any areas where we can improve or benefit from on successes.
