Overview
We have a brand-new opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our team based in Plymouth. This position provides essential support to the Office Manager, assisting the engineering and management teams within our busy Plymouth office and plays an integral part of the administration and management team. The role will involve assisting with the coordination of bid submissions for some of the most exciting projects in the industry to achieve contract wins as well as supporting with the day to day running of the office and events. Administrators have a good overview of their responsibilities – covering reception and ensuring visitors are welcomed positively are key duties.
Responsibilities
- General office administrative duties to include managing incoming calls, meeting and greeting visitors, monitoring and actioning incoming email enquiries.
- Diary management including organisation of internal / external meetings, booking ad-hoc travel and accommodation requirements.
- Stationery and office stock ordering and management.
- Preparing creative content and associated material to formulate and help coordinate bid responses.
- Ensuring punctuality of submissions as per tender processes and deadlines.
- Ensuring adherence to Hoare Lea brand standards.
- Support in managing key tender portals, registrations, digital marketing channels and updating company information as required.
- Provide general administration support to engineering teams and Coordinators, including proof-reading, preparing, and formatting reports and ad-hoc documents.
- Work collaboratively with the wider office and central teams.
Qualifications
- Excellent IT skills, proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Proven experience as an Administrator in a previous role and understanding of industry knowledge is desirable.
