About the Role
We are looking for someone to lead our London project accounting team across two business units delivering multi‑discipline projects in London, with line reports located in our Bristol, Plymouth and Bournemouth offices. The finance coordinators act as finance partnering support to the project. Along with being a key member of the project team they promote the importance of quality project data ensuring project margins and revenues are stated correctly and that client requirements are met for billing purposes. Reporting directly to the Finance Co‑ordinator Manager this role will balance a portfolio of projects while managing the rest of the South team.
Role Responsibilities
- Line‑manage a small team of Finance Coordinators, supporting day‑to‑day queries and workload balance.
- Provide training and support to up‑skill new or developing team members.
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving project finance issues within the region.
Regional Delivery
- Deliver core Finance Coordinator responsibilities for the regional project portfolio, including:
- Project setup and maintenance
- Invoicing
- Purchasing and fee tracking
- Forecast support
- Financial reviews and KPI tracking
Process Consistency and Quality
- Ensure accurate and consistent data entry across finance systems.
- Support the implementation of standard processes and tools across the team.
- Liaise with the Finance Coordinator Manager to escalate systemic issues or risks.
About You

- Strong Excel and data reporting skills.
- Experience in sales ledger and managing data.
- Comfortable leading small teams and providing coaching and support.
- Ability to manage priorities and maintain attention to detail.
