About the role
We are looking for someone to lead our London project accounting team. This covers two Business Units delivering multi-discipline projects (London and Bristol). With line reports located in our Bristol, Plymouth and Bournemouth offices. Our finance co-ordinators act as finance partnering support to the project. Along with being a key member of the project team they promote the importance of quality project data, ensuring project margins and revenues are stated correctly alongside ensuring our client requirements are met for billing purposes. Reporting directly to the Finance Co-Ordinator Manager, this role will balance a portfolio of projects along with managing the rest of the South team.
Role responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Line manages a small team of Finance Coordinators, supporting day-to-day queries and workload balance.
- Provide training and support to upskill new or developing team members.
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving project finance issues within the region.
- Deliver core Finance Coordinator responsibilities for regional project portfolio, including:
- Project setup and maintenance
- Invoicing
- Purchasing and fee tracking
- Forecast support
- Financial reviews and KPI tracking
- Ensure accurate and consistent data entry across finance systems.
- Support the implementation of standard processes and tools across the team.
- Liaise with the Finance Coordinator Manager to escalate systemic issues or risks.
About you

- Experience in sales ledger and managing data.
