We are looking for a highly skilled Fire Engineer to join Hoare Lea’s Fire Engineering team based in our offices across Glasgow, Bristol, Manchester and London.

Role Overview
- Lead fire safety design of buildings, preparing fire strategies and detailed design documents.
- Work closely with project partners, ensuring integration of fire safety into overall design.
- Attend design workshops, client meetings and site visits, communicating progress and risks.
- Travel across UK sites and for occasional international projects.
- Use software tools for smoke, evacuation, heat‑radiation and structural fire modelling.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant degree (Engineering, Building Services, Maths, Architecture, Physics) or equivalent.
- Professional experience in a fire engineering consultancy or related role.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire safety design and UK regulations.
- Proficiency with fire modelling software and analytical tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver on demanding deadlines.
