We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Public Health Engineer to join our team in Birmingham . Our office has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering design across a wide range of built environment projects, working with clients across the Midlands and beyond. You’ll be part of a collaborative, knowledgeable and supportive team, working alongside specialist engineers and consultants in a flexible, high-performing environment. We have a long-standing presence in the city and a diverse portfolio of projects, supported by a broad range of engineering disciplines. As a Senior Public Health Engineer, you will support and deliver public health design solutions across projects of varying scale and complexity. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver a consistent, high-quality service to clients, while supporting repeat business, new opportunities and profitable project outcomes. Provide detailed, coordinated and cost-effective public health design advice to a varied client base. Prepare specifications, calculations and technical reports tailored to project needs. Design above- and below-ground drainage systems, rainwater and roof drainage, hot and cold-water services, and fire suppression systems to programme, budget and quality standards. Attend design team meetings, client meetings and site inspections. Work with minimal supervision and take ownership of your own projects where required. Proven experience as a Public Health Engineer, or in a closely related role, delivering a range of complex projects. A strong understanding of drainage systems, including rainwater and domestic water services. Proficiency in relevant software such as Revit and AutoCAD. From there, successful candidates will be invited to attend a panel interview, either via Microsoft Teams or in person at one of our offices.
