We are looking for someone to work as part of our project finance team. This is a pivotal role and a key member of the project team to facilitate and promote the importance of quality project data along with ensuring our client requirements are met for billing purposes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up new projects using our internal reporting and accounting systems.
  • Assist the engineers in the maintenance of their projects using our internal systems.
  • Provide assistance with preparing both internal and external invoices and issue to agreed recipients.
  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of all correspondence for projects, adhering to Hoare Lea’s internal IMS procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Project Leaders, ensuring that all required information is received in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with other members of the finance team, ensuring that everyone is aware of the status of projects.
  • Maintain data on clients’ finance portal systems to obtain purchase orders / upload invoices, liaise with the credit control team, flag any issues to the managers.
  • Assist the Manager maintain high levels of data quality, supporting on updating any data inconsistencies identified.
  • Ad-hoc project work as required by the business.

  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
