About the role
We are looking for talented Acoustic Engineer or Senior Acoustic Engineer with a focus on building acoustics to join our London team. You’ll become part of an award‑winning, collaborative group working across the UK on a wide range of projects, from healthcare and hotels to music venues, modern workplaces and other complex, design‑led environments. As part of the team, your day‑to‑day work will be varied and engaging.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating within multi‑disciplinary project teams to develop innovative design solutions
- Leading small to medium‑sized projects from inception through to completion and handover, with appropriate supervision
- Undertaking acoustic surveys and measurements in a wide range of environments using the best available tools and techniques
- Carrying out modelling, calculations and analysis using both in-house developed programs and commercial software to inform design decisions
- Liaising with clients, consultants and wider project teams, contributing confidently to project discussions and design development
- Producing clear, practical advice through written reports, sketches, presentations, audio demos and interactive media
- Contributing to a culture of creativity and innovation, helping to improve acoustic quality across projects
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in acoustic engineering, with a portfolio of building acoustic focussed projects.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree related to Acoustic Engineering
- A degree in another discipline will also be considered if complemented by an IOA Diploma
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A friendly, ambitious and positive approach
- A flexible, enthusiastic mindset and a genuine interest in delivering high‑quality design solutions
