About The Role
You will work in our Cardiff office, within a dynamic and diverse team of designers, engineers and specialists, supporting and delivering electrical design services across a range of project types and sizes, and contributing to business development and team growth.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across a number of building sectors.
- Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.
- Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a communicative, collaborative and timely approach to delivery.
- This is a client‑facing role, so you will be attending project meetings and translating the brief within the project team.
- Work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered.
- Mentor and support our next‑generation professionals, including apprentices and graduates.
About You
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record delivering on a variety of complex projects.
- Experience of modern technical delivery processes and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
- Demonstrable experience working with clients/contractors/architects in a design‑oriented/consultant role.
- Self‑awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity.
- Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence.
