We're looking for a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team at Hoar Cross Hall

The Role
As our Pastry Chef de Partie, you'll work closely with the Head Pastry Chef and the wider Kitchen Team to produce outstanding pastries, desserts and baked goods
You'll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the pastry section, helping us maintain exceptional standards while bringing creativity and new ideas to the kitchen
What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts and baked goods
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the pastry section
  • Creating beautiful pastries, desserts and baked goods to the highest standards
  • Assisting with menu development and seasonal specials
  • Training and supporting junior pastry chefs
  • Managing stock and maintaining ingredient quality
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Ensuring desserts are prepared and served efficiently during busy service
  • Assisting with special events, banquets and seasonal offerings

What We're Looking For

  • Have previous pastry experience within a high-end hotel, restaurant or similar environment
  • Have a genuine passion for creating exceptional desserts and pastries
  • Have excellent pastry skills and knowledge of pastry techniques
  • Have a keen eye for detail and presentation
  • Have knowledge of food safety requirements and pastry ingredients
  • Have an interest in modern pastry trends and techniques
  • Have the ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
  • Have a positive attitude and a commitment to working as part of a high-performing team

Experience with high-volume covers, Food Safety training or a relevant culinary qualification would be an advantage, but isn't essential
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is keen to share their knowledge, develop their skills and grow with us
Working Pattern

  • 40 hours per week.
  • 5 days out of 7
  • Please note: Flexibility is essential, as shifts may vary to meet the needs of the business
