The role of the Linen Porter is to be responsible for the management of bed linen, towels, and robes within the housekeeping department, to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Role Specification:
- Removing all housekeeping trolleys from cupboards and placing them on corridors.
- Removing all linen trolleys from cupboards and positioning them in designated areas on corridors.
- Stripping all linen, towels, and robes from departure bedrooms.
- Handling dirty linen and separating them into respective cages for washing.
- Restocking clean linen and reporting any discrepancies to your Line Manager.
- Ensuring cupboards are always stocked with adequate linen for use throughout the day.
- Ensuring all corridors are clear of dirty linen, linen trolleys, dirty glassware, trays, and bottles.
- Reporting any issues in bedrooms to your Line Manager.
Shift Patterns: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 per week. Typical shift pattern: 8am – 4.30pm. Note: Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
