Role Specification:
- Assist the Head Pastry Chef in the daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring efficiency and smooth production.
- Collaborate on menu development and contribute new ideas to create exciting dessert options.
- Oversee the preparation, production and presentation of all pastries and desserts, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Mentor and supervise junior pastry staff, fostering a positive and educational environment.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met, in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage stock levels and inventory for the pastry section, ensuring fresh, highest quality ingredients are used.
- Monitor production during service hours, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Contribute to special events, banquets, and seasonal offerings as required.
