The Role:
At Hoar Cross Hall, we\’re looking for a Head Waiter / Waitress to join our team and help drive high standards across our restaurant operations.
As a key support to the Restaurant Management team, you\’ll play a central role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining exceptional service quality, and training and motivating our Food and Beverage Assistants to meet and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Support and motivate team members to maintain high service standards.
- Assist in planning and overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing duties and cleaning schedules.
- Monitor quality, guest feedback, and staffing levels.
- Assist with training and development of new and existing team members.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards (including COSHH and PPE usage).
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, atmosphere, and presentation.
- Record any complimentary items and wastage accurately.
- Ensure all customer special requests and dietary requirements are managed with care and attention.
- Stay informed on current menus and ingredients.
- Uphold company uniform and appearance standards.

- Proven experience in a food and beverage or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, team-first attitude.

Shift Pattern:
- Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
- Shifts are spread across 5 days a week, including weekends
