The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your key responsibility is ensuring that all kitchen equipment is cleaned to the highest standards and that our kitchen is maintained in a safe, efficient, and organized manner. No prior kitchen experience is necessary – we value dedication and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all kitchen equipment (pots, pans, crockery, etc.) is cleaned to the highest standards
  • Following correct cleaning procedures and adhering to provided cleaning schedules
  • Using appropriate cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized pot‑wash area and cleaning equipment storage areas
  • Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor at the end of each shift to maintain cleanliness
  • Ensuring all bins are emptied throughout the day and cleaned inside and out at the end of each shift
