The Role
To work collaboratively with the Head Housekeeper in ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and general maintenance of the guest bedrooms. These areas should be maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance.
Role Specification
- Ensuring guest bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to the required set standards, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, moping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Changing/making beds in line with the Housekeeping SOP.
- Assisting in sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
- Replenishing amenities.
- Keeping the laundry area clean, organised, and free from obstructions.
- Completing extra jobs as instructed by Housekeeping Supervisors, Deputy Head Housekeeper and Head Housekeeper.
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the Head Housekeeper promptly
Additional Information
- 30 hours per week - zero hour contract
- Various shifts available between 0900-1530hrs
- Working 5 days out of 7 per week
- Note:Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business including weekends and bank holidays
