We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Head Bartender to join our award-winning team and contribute to our continued success.
As Head Bartender, you will play a key role overseeing all aspects of the operations of our bars which includes:
- Crafting unique drink menus for our guests to enjoy.
- Managing the bar staff and stock levels.
- Ensuring our high levels of service are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing guests with a personalised service, recommending drink selections, and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Monitoring and managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing wastage to maintain cost efficiency.
- Developing and preparing high-quality cocktails, including the creation of pre-batched drinks, house-made syrups, infusions, and garnishes.
- Overseeing the cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the bar area.
- Leading and motivating the bar staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team.
- Providing training and mentorship to ensure all staff meet the high standards expected.
- Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar's cellar, ensuring optimal storage conditions for all beverages.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the bar or hospitality industry.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Food Safety Training.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
Shift Pattern:
- Full-time contract.
- £13.75 per hour.
- Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business such as working evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
