The Role

Working as part of the Kitchen Team, this position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. The Chef de Partie plays a vital role in assisting in the daily operations managing their own section of the kitchen and providing a positive dining experience for our guests.

Role Specification

  • Assisting with the daily operations of the kitchen
  • Assisting the Head Chef in liaising regularly with all suppliers
  • Assisting with the ordering and ensure that sufficient stock is maintained
  • Ensuring all food served in the restaurant is at the standard required
  • Ensuring all related food hygiene regulations are followed by yourself and the kitchen team
  • Promoting and maintaining a high level of hygiene in the kitchen using cleaning schedules
  • Ensuring efficient delegation of kitchen duties between kitchen team
  • Maintaining a positive professional atmosphere throughout the kitchen area; lead by example and assisting where help is needed
  • Helping to train, supervise and motivate the kitchen team

Personal Specification

Essentials
  • Have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Hold a Level 2 Food Safety certificate
  • Have a good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Have an excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and be able to use all relevant guidelines
Desirables
  • Have experience with large volume covers
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have Food Safety Training

Additional Information

  • 45 hours per week
  • 5 days out of 7 per week
  • Typical shift patterns: 08:00 - 17:30 and 13:30 - 23:00
  • Salary: 32,361.84 per annum
  • Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business
