About the Role
Do you have the flair to 'shake things up' behind the bar and deliver exceptional customer service to every guest? If so, we have the job for you. As part of our Food and Beverage team, you will have a natural way with people, an eye for detail and the drive to maintain and improve standards. It is essential that you have a desire to deliver amazing service and a personality that shines!
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests
- Interacting with guests, taking orders from the bar
- Serving guests with food and drinks as required, following SOPs
- Reconciling bar takings at the end of each shift
- Changing barrels and cleaning beer pipes as and when required
- Adhering to all licensing regulations as specified by the licensing laws
- Providing the service of drinks under the current Weights and Measures Act
- Displaying professional and positive sales techniques
Personal Specification: Essentials
- Have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Have excellent knowledge and eye for detail in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Have a good understanding of liquor licensing, food hygiene and quality standards
- Have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirables:
- Have experience with large volume covers
- Have experience in providing first-class bar service
- Have knowledge of wines and coffee
- Have previous Food Safety Training
Additional Information
Working 5 out of 7 days (Full-Time) Zero-hour contract. Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work as needed to meet team and business demands.
