About the Role: Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for delivering excellence? We are seeking a dynamic and driven Bars Manager to lead and inspire our bars team at Hoar Cross Hall. As Bars Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of all our bars - including the Long Gallery Bar, Joynes Suite Bar, Event Bars, and outdoor bars - ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction. You will take ownership of performance, budgets, staff development, and service delivery, while setting the tone for a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the bars team, ensuring exceptional service and hospitality at all times.
  • Oversee the operational management of all bar areas, including stock control, beverage quality, and guest satisfaction.
  • Drive profitability through sales analysis, budgeting, and achieving financial targets.
  • Implement and maintain high standards across beverage preparation, service delivery, and health & safety compliance.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a culture of motivation, teamwork, and progression.
  • Monitor guest feedback and take proactive steps to exceed expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing laws, and health and safety regulations.
  • Create and implement new initiatives to enhance the bar experience and maximise revenue.

What We're Looking For:

Essentials:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within hospitality, ideally in bars or food & beverage.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Excellent organisational and financial management abilities.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
Desirables:
  • Previous experience managing multiple outlets or high-volume operations.
  • Strong product knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Experience designing and implementing beverage menus.
  • Relevant Food Safety, Licensing, or Health & Safety training.

Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 45 hours per week. Late shifts and weekend working along with flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role.
