HO Healthcare is looking for a confident, caring and reliable Senior Care Assistant to work within dementia, EMI and residential homes. We offer full time/part time positions, day or night shifts. Our clients are registered elderly care services that specialise in cancer care, Alzheimer's, visual impairment and hearing impairment & deafness, with ages ranging from 60 years old plus. We offer excellent hourly rates.
Responsibilities Of A Senior Carer Assistant:
- Assist the management in the running of the care home
- Maintain high standards of care to the residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the residents and other staff members
- Act in a professional manner at all times
- Handle medication
- Mentor junior carers
You must have at least 6 months recent experience in a similar role in a care home setting administering medication.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Preferably) and Medication Trained.
