We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Communications and School Liaison Officer. 37 hours per week, Term Time plus 15 days, 41 weeks per year. Salary: Range 12-14 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, £29,544 - £31,324 per annum (reduced to £27,753 - £29,425 per annum pro rata) to reflect the reduced working nature of this role. Standard practice is to appoint at bottom of scale.

Role Overview
As the School Liaison and Communications Officer you will work with prospective applicants and their parents/carers via our excellent relationships with schools to help them to understand what HNC has to offer and how they will be educated, enriched and enlightened if they choose to take their post-16 journey at HNC. As part of this you will deliver impactful assemblies, careers events and mock interviews, and provide genuine insight into our College offer. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, engaging and forward-thinking individual who is passionate about the power of education and keen to develop understanding in our local community and beyond about what makes our College so special. As part of a small but dynamic team you’ll also be involved in a wide range of activity including content creation, Open Events and communications that support applicants on their journey to HNC. Applicants should ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
