As we are building a brand new team, we are looking for Security / Senior Loss Prevention Officers to support the Store Management and Sales teams. You will be implementing loss prevention best practice and ensuring compliance in store. Working as part of a team on the sales floor, you will ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and customers by reducing the opportunities for crime, disorder and accidents. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate confidence and ability when dealing with sensitive matters, have a passion for safety first and approach all situations with a customer focused priority. We are looking for both part-time (15 hours per week) and full time (37.5 hours per week) candidates who can work shifts, including weekends. Key aspects of the role will be:

  • Customer relations and Health & Safety compliance
  • Positive responses to conflict in accordance with Company procedure and Health and Safety requirements
  • Assisting with security operatives and law enforcement agencies, working lawfully to deter criminal activity
  • Adhering to company data and incident reporting procedures
  • Comply with Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and customers
  • Carry out all duties assigned by your Manager
  • Understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
    Demonstrate a professional manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company
  • Previous Retail Security experience preferable
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Be dependable and available to work a regular work schedule
  • Possessing a friendly, approachable personality
  • Smart and presentable appearance
  • Work with the police and other law enforcement agencies, attending court if required
  • Experienced in critical thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills and flexible approach
  • Have good local knowledge and be graphically aware of the store area.
