About the Role
We’re looking for a Graduate Planner to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with the operations team to maintain and progress project programmes using Primavera P6 software. You will develop the ability to build project programmes independently as part of your progression into a Planner role.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop project programmes (Tender, PCSA, Contract, Execution, Design, Commissioning) using planning software
- Attend internal weekly project meetings
- Gather accurate weekly progress updates, including start and finish dates
- Participate in internal planning workshops and the Graduate Development Programme
- Attend site visits as required
- Report to Lead Planners and the Planning Manager on project and programme status
- Attend weekly planning department meetings
- Prepare and issue regular reporting including:
- Progress updates
- S-Curves
- Planned vs Actual analysis
- Earned Value / CPI / SPI and other reporting as required
- Maintain documentation and file management in Primavera P6 and ACC
- Adhere to all Planning Department standards and procedures
Key Requirements
- 3rd level qualification in Construction, Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline
- Strong communication skills in English
- Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project experience is an advantage but not essential
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Team player with a high level of initiative
- European languages are an advantage but not essential
