This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in construction and surveying as a Development Surveyor Apprentice. You’ll gain hands‑on experience both on‑site and in the office, working alongside experienced technical professionals while studying towards a recognised qualification. You’ll learn how we ensure our homes are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, while also delivering value for money and supporting sustainability goals. This is a 2‑year apprenticeship.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist with site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety
  • Support delivery of new build and refurbishment projects
  • Help ensure construction works meet Building Regulations and Torus standards
  • Work with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues
  • Support inspections, handovers, and post‑completion reviews
  • Learn how to carry out property and condition surveys
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Support health & safety monitoring processes
  • Assist with customer‑focused handovers to ensure a positive experience
  • Work towards a relevant apprenticeship qualification

Hours: 37
