We’re looking for a Multi Trade Operative to join our team and help us provide a first‑class service to our customers across the North West – work will take place predominantly in Liverpool but will require travel to St Helens and Warrington in line with business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, can work independently, and is committed to doing the job right the first time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carry out complex maintenance and construction activities in your core trade, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Deliver high‑quality kitchen fitting, bathroom installations, tiling, shower tray installation and disrepair works as part of day‑to‑day repairs and planned maintenance.
  • Undertake associated multi‑trade tasks such as plastering, painting, joinery or plumbing to support our ‘one job, one visit’ approach.
  • Plan and organise your workload effectively, making best use of time, materials, transport and equipment.
  • Work within a scheduled appointment system, liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of works.
  • Diagnose issues, complete pre‑measuring, and make informed decisions about repair requirements in line with contractual guidelines.
  • Supervise and support apprentices or trainees when required.
  • Use IT systems to receive instructions, update work orders, order materials and complete documentation accurately.
  • Maintain stock and equipment within your company vehicle and ensure all tools and materials are used safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with Schedulers, Planners, CLOs and other teams to ensure work is coordinated and completed effectively.
  • Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota when required (additional payment applies).

What we’re looking for:

  • Craft City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in your core discipline.
  • CSCS card at the appropriate level.
  • Full UK or EU driving licence.
  • Time‑served apprenticeship with experience in joinery, building maintenance and construction activities.
  • Strong customer care skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Experience of multi‑skilled trade activity related to your core discipline.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage a varied workload.
  • Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to different tasks and priorities.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality work, continuous improvement and excellent service.

Interview Process:

Candidates will be invited to attend an interview, which will include a competency‑based discussion exploring relevant experience, technical knowledge and customer‑focused behaviours. Interviews will take place at our Stonebridge Office week commencing 13th July 2026.
