We're looking for a

Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team based at Stonebridge Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or aspiring Quantity Surveyor to develop their career within a supportive environment, gaining hands-on experience across contract administration, commercial management, tendering, estimating and site surveying activities.

You'll work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and wider operational teams, supporting the delivery of high-quality commercial services while developing your technical and professional knowledge.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Quantity Surveying team with contract administration and quantity surveying activities across a range of contracts.
  • Support the management and delivery of planned works programmes, including kitchen and bathroom replacements, gas works, and wider property improvement projects, helping to monitor costs, performance, and project delivery from an office-based environment.
  • Assisting with tendering, estimating and the preparation of quotations for non-scheduled works.
  • Undertaking site surveys and supporting the identification of new business opportunities.
  • Providing management information to support service delivery and contractual performance.
  • Supporting the management of invoicing processes, helping to improve accuracy and reduce invoice rejections.
  • Working with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost, environmental and customer requirements are achieved.
  • Assisting with the authorisation and generation of variations to agreed works and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting commercial reporting and the assessment of profit and loss across contracts and individual jobs.
  • Helping managers and operational teams improve financial performance across workstreams.
  • Supporting the monitoring and reporting of key performance measures and commercial indicators.
  • Developing an understanding of the National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates and supporting the sharing of commercial best practice across the business.
  • Maintaining accurate records, files and documentation to support service delivery and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Management or Construction.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • An understanding of site health and safety requirements.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently whilst also contributing effectively as part of a wider team.

  • Full UK or EU driving licence.

Interview Process

  • Candidates will be invited to attend an interview which will explore their commercial awareness, communication skills, technical understanding and suitability for a career in Quantity Surveying.

Interviews will take place at our Stonebridge Park office, week commencing 17th August 2026.
