Senior Performance Analyst (Google Analytics) Location: Remote with occasional travel (maybe one day every 2-3 months) for workshops Employment Type: 3 month rolling contract Sector: Public Sector / Government Digital Services Rate: £515 per day Inside IR35 Clearance: Active SC Clearance or SC Eligible Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Analyst with a strong background supporting HMRC and wider public sector organisations . The successful candidate will play a key role in measuring service performance, delivering actionable insights, and driving continuous improvement across digital services and transformation programmes. This role requires expertise in performance measurement frameworks, analytics strategy, stakeholder engagement, and digital service optimisation, alongside hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and associated analytics tooling. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks aligned with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards. Define and monitor KPIs, success measures, and performance indicators across digital services. Analyse user behaviour, service performance, and operational outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Service Owners, and senior stakeholders. Support digital transformation initiatives through data-driven decision making and evidence-based recommendations. Prepare analytical evidence for service assessments and governance reviews. Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions to communicate performance effectively. Lead performance analysis activities across complex programmes and services.
